Confronting the Sun in Lido di Jesolo

Out of Order from August 8 – August 20
In about five days I’ll once again fly off to spend almost two weeks on the beaches of Lido di Jesolo, Italy. Two years has went by since the last time I visited the place and considering it is only 30 minutes by boat away from Venice, it isn’t really an odd thing I am looking forward to return—though this time I’ll be accompanied by my long-time best friend Paul.
I have no plans for the vacation, but it could very well end up being 50-50: a bit of partying and a bit of relaxing and sight-seeing in Venice. I am not someone who just needs to go out every night, drink every night and come home at 7AM. I’ve had that, though not for a very long time—I guess it doesn’t really fit me. Sight-seeing doesn’t fit my either, but Venice has always been different for me for reasons I don’t understand. Besides, Paul is really looking forward to checking it out for the first time. Expect to see a gallery of photos from either of us when we return on the 20th of August.
PS: If anyone in the area of Venice is interested in grabbing a drink in the period of August 8 – August 20, drop me a line.
